'Trouble' pertenece al álbum debut de Coldplay, titulado 'Parachutes'. El tema se lanzó el 23 de octubre de 2000 como el tercer sencillo del disco. Mientras que en el Reino Unido alcanzó el décimo puesto de la UK Singles Chart, en Estados Unidos no logró ingresar en las principales listas.

Sin embargo, la prensa musical estadounidense consideró a 'Trouble' como una de las más exitosas de la banda liderada por Chris Martin.
